LMPs

Lowboy Mini Parks (LMPs) are designed to be placed into standard 9’ x 19’ parking spaces. There are two versions of the Lowboy Park designs; one for parallel parking spaces and one for angled parking spaces.

The concept is based on creating mobile “roll-off” parks in urban environments where park space and vacant lots are scarce. The Lowboy Parks are built from pre-manufactured 8’ x 16’ Lowboy containers.

The LMPs are intended to serve pedestrians along sidewalks in high-density urban areas. They’ll be places where people can meet, rest, and log onto the internet. They are designed to meet ADA standards for accessible design.

Each Lowboy Park will have built-in seating and counter tops, two large trees for shade, adjustable solar louvers, electrical outlets, and free Wi-Fi. The Lowboys are mobile and can be relocated as-needed to any standard sized parking space.
