Steven Chavez is a Los Angeles–based landscape architect. He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington and a Master of Fine Arts in Photography, with an emphasis on urban landscape photography, from the University of Ulster.

Steven currently teaches landscape architecture at UCLA Extension and is the Founder and Executive Director of the National Association of Minority Landscape Architects (NAMLA). His work is driven by a commitment to cultural equity and environmental stewardship, with the goal of making the world a more beautiful and sustainable place to live—one landscape at a time.
